Britney Spears // Candies

Britney Spears has agreed to release untouched images from her Candies campaign alongside the airbrushed ones.
She has been made slimmer for the adds, her thighs, arms and waist has been slimmed down and marks and bruises have been removed.
A pretty brave decision of Brit's - but I think she looks great either way.

Pixie Lott // For Lipsy

Seems sort of like everyone is getting their own clothing line lately, and Pixie Lott for Lipsy is just the latest in a long line. She launched her collection in Bluewater last night before heading to Movida.

Pixie says: "'The collection is very me and that's why it was great to do the two looks - festival and party - as I love festivals and I love going out."
Interesting...

Kate Hudson // Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson both looked stunning on the red carpet in New York for the launch of their new film with Kate in Louis Vuitton and Jessica opting for Chloe as they promoted their new film The Killer Inside Me. I love their retro glamour!

Kristin Cavallari // Novella Royale

Personally I have been lusting after the Novella Royale. It's a gorgeous medium sized bag, with large stud detail all over and a gold finish metal label. Kristin Cavallari is pictured with it here - jealous!

Lindsay Lohan // Dad Drama

Courtesy of OSO Blog:

Lindsay Lohan and her twitter page make up another post today - Michael Lohan apparently stormed her apartment yesterday with the poilce in tow.

Lindsay's dad was apparently there to do a "welfare check" on her sister Ali.

The actress tweeted the whole ordeal - highlights include:

"I have no choice but to make this public, due to my sister's safety, as well as my own, "my ex-dad" just WALKED INTO MY APT like the devil's advocate with officers...."

"let's not forget, that my father KIDNAPPED me from a COURT ROOM when i was 4 years old and is CRAZY"

"he has NEVER paid child support, and is marrying a tabloid writer and can barely spell his own name due to his "brain" that has been ruined due to HIS drug use."

"@Lara_Disco my lawyer isn't answering I NEED A RESTRAINING ORDER! MY SISTER AND FRIEND TOO!!!!! HE'S NUTS!!!"

Lindsay's mum Dina has released a statement saying, "I was told by my attorneys not to speak because it is very serious and my ex could be in big trouble. He's dangerous.... If he can't get to them he is going to try to hurt them - it's not good."

Oh the Lohan's. It's basically Eastenders.

Dannii Minogue's Fashion Line

The first image of Dannii Minogue's new dress collection Project D has been released and is modeled here by a Minogue look-alike. It's set to be available from the end of June with an accessories line and perfume to follow. Looks great so far, what do you think?

Katy Perry // Coachella

So what are your thoughts on Katy Perry's native American style outfit at Coachella? With its echoes of Pocahontas I think it works quite well and was certainly a welcome change from her outfit of the previous day....

Outnumbered

I am so excited this show is back and I can't believe it missed out at The Baftas this year. For me it is hands down the best sitcom on tv. I caught up with the first episode of series 3 on iplayer last night - typically hilarious!

It’s the ridiculous and realistic comments that make Outnumbered what it is. Conversations include what would happen in a fight between the Queen and the prime minister, (“The Queen can’t just have people killed”, “she killed Diana”), Karen giving her own critique of Van Gogh’s art (“it’s all squiggly, he should have went over it”) and how the government makes laws (“they read the Daily Mail and do what it says”).

Taylor Momson for New Look.

Taylor Monsom's new campaign for New Look has been released. She wears a gorgeous lace top and trench coat, complete with her typically sultry look.

Described as this season's most Angelic-Punk vibe, you can view the full collection here.

Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole, recently voted the UK's most stylish woman, has been pictured out and about recently in the most amazing selection of statement jeans:

Absolutely love all these outfits.

Daisy Lowe for Swarovoski

Daisy Lowe's new Swarovski collection, Daisy Lowe for Swarovski Crystallized is out, and here's an image from the photo campaign!

The collaboration reflects the model's 'love of nature': 20% of the proceeds from the sale of every piece will be donated to Climate Concern, a charity that educates and empowers individuals about climate change.

They range in price from $92-$160 and they are available here.

Jessica Simpson Marie Claire

Jessica Simpson is gracing the cover of US Marie Claire make-up-less and with air dryed hair. Personally, I think she looks great.

The singer and actress gives her tips on hair and make up, saying, "People think updos are so hard, but they're not. Your hair should look tousled and undone."

Jess also gave an interview where she announced that she no longer cares about peoples perception of her, saying, "I don't have anything to prove anymore. What other people think of me is not my business."

Nicole Richie Collection

Nicole Richie has just released some images from her Winter Kate Fall collection!

Expect top hats, and Nicole's trademark flowing, maxi dresses.

On her collection, Nicole says, "My main source of inspiration was this movie called From Hell. It's about the Free Masons and Jack the Ripper so it's definitely about that time [period]."

"We have capes and cigarette pants, vests, jackets and blazers. There are cleaner lines and it's a lot more simple."

Dannii :)

It's a good day for the Minogue sisters: after Kylie being named Most Powerful Celebrity, her sister Dannii Minogue has been named Australia's Most Beautiful woman.

The pregnant talent show judge came first in Who magazine's annual 25 Most Beautiful People list.

Pretty in pink

Pink is a really great colour for spring. It's cheerful and easier to pull off than you might imagine. Here is a selection of my favourites:

Love this hot pink satin bow dress by Arden B. You could wear it with flip flops and a faded denim jacket for shopping, or add strappy high heeled sandals and a choker necklace for a summer wedding.

AmiClubWear has this great one-shoulder mini dress in fuchsia that has a draped ruffle and sequin decor. It also features ruching in front. For girls who like the idea of a short prom dress, this could be just the thing.

Dresses

Not a fan of this Christian Lacroix dress worn by Jennifer Aniston to The Bounty Hunter premiere.

Love Sarah Harding's LBD though!

Friday 26 March 2010

The Hills.

After 6 seasons of fashion, fallouts and breaks up The Hills has been cancelled! Season 6 will be its last.

The creater Adam DiVello says the following: "I think we've told the story of struggle and of finding yourself in L.A. A lot of these kids have found themselves and have certainly embarked on different careers and different paths."

Time for Kristen Cavallari and co. to get a real job?!?

Victoria Beckham

I'm not in any way a fan of Victoria Beckham, but I do love this trench dress she was pictured wearing in Moscow. It's part of her own collection though and presumably therefore, massively overpriced!

Wednesday 24 March 2010

E-Sprit

I found some cool looking pieces from E-Sprit's new line. I'm a massive fan of denim leggings, and the tees look great to throw on to feel cute and comfortable.

Daisy Lowe is featuring in their new advertising campaign too.

Shoebox Exhibition

I found out about the following on the Topshop blog and I think it's a fantastic idea.

"We were really touched when we found out about Shoebox living. This exhibition aims to raise money for the amazing chcharity Kids Company and we think the idea is brilliant!

They’ve asked children they consider vulnerable to take a shoebox and, in it, recreate a room from their home and then give a short description of what they did and why. The result is some inspiring pieces and a real insight into these children’s worlds. The kids’ boxes are to be stacked together to create a tower block of their shared experiences and outlooks and will go a long way to helping the charity raise money for art workshops and art therapy for traumatised children."

The exhibition took place yesterday and all the finished pieces will be sold off in a lottery auction and there are plans to take the idea around the country, ending up with an entire estate of shoebox living that visitors can walk through.

Oxford

I had such a great weekend in Oxford visiting a friend. The sun was shining and it's such a beautiful city, we visited the colleges and did all the usual touristy stuff. On Saturday night we went to this club called Kukui which was Hawain themed, and had a really great crowd. On the Sunday we visited Jamie Oliver's restaurant - beeeest pasta I have ever had in my life, no joke! After that we watched I Love You Phillip Morris which I really enjoyed. I've never been much of a fan of Jim Carey in the past, but this film sees him flit between flat out slapstick humour and being genuinely sincere.

Clogs

Absolutely love these clogs that are coming soon to Topshop. So so cute!

St Patrick's Day Fashion!

In honour of St Paddy's day I thought I'd showcase some green style, because who says everyone can't look good in green!

These following ideas are sure to make your friends green with envy!

I absolutely love these Pour La Victoire green wellies. They are just perfect for the spring. Neutral enough to go with anything, jazzed up by the logo and studs.

I also adore this sage green Alexander Wang shoulder bag. Made of distressed leather, will blend effortlessly into your spring wardrobe.

Also from Alexander Wang this gorgeous dress with scoop back and scoop neck, perfect under or over anything.

The Dixie Chicks

Really excited to hear The Dixie Chicks are back. They're heading out on a US tour later this year. Maybe a new album, please please please?!

Tuesday 16 March 2010

Grazia :)

How cute are these balloons seen at Paris fashion week? I desperately want one! And now I can't wait to see what British Grazia will bring us next fashion week. Personally I'd like a pink poodle!!
I found this hairstyle on Fashionising and I think it looks fab. Streaks of hair twisted and entangled to form a messy plait. It works well because it's so delibrately messy, but sadly I think it'd look far better when your hair is different shades of blonde.

Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry

So Amy Winehouse has teamed up with Fred Perry to create a womenswear collection spanning over 4 seasons. The collaboration will be based on Wino's signature 1950s style and will be made up of 17 pieces including skirts and polo shirts. The gear will carry a specially-designed logo.

The first range will be in her favourite colours of black and pink. Not entirely sure how I feel about this. I can't help but feel that however much I like Amy, her clothes sense is terrible. Oh well, time will tell I guess.

Gossip Girl :/

Finally got around to watching the return of Gossip Girl last night. From the promos I was expecting something fantastic only to be disappointed.

Chuck Bass continues to be the most interesting character on the show for me - even though his story line was predictable (DUH, that's his mother), his depth as an actor really makes the show for me right now. Blair as the supportive girlfriend is also great though I am waiting to see more of the conniving Blair we know and love.

Lily's big secret appearing to be her spending the night with her ex was not as deep as I thought it would be, hopefully there is more to that storyline...

I'm also not liking Serena and Nate back together but I guess Serena needs something to do on the show!

Thursday 11 March 2010

Chanel :)

Check out this new product from Chanel that I discovered on the Vogue blog:

A cashmere hot water bottle cover. How perfect for the English winter. I need one now, but slightly out of my price range I expect!

Kate Moss, Parisienne Chic

Kate Moss has been in Paris this week for Paris Fashion Week, and was spotted out and about rocking a classic French style.

To steal Kate's look have a look at the following:

* Long sleeved breton striped top

* Bertie pumps

* Cruise collections red military jacket.

Topshop on London Fashion Week

If you've got a few minutes check out this Topshop Podcast, it's their round up of London Fashion Week 2010, pretty cool.

Spring 2010 Fashion Trends

With March in full swing the official start of Spring 2010 is only weeks away. Check out my favourite fashion trends tipped to be hot this spring and further in to 2010:

* Knee high/over the knee socks

* Jumpsuits and playsuits

* The Boyfriend Blazer

And my personal favourite...patched jeans. So much warmer than ripped!

Emma Watson for People Tree

“Ethical attire that will put a spell on you” Daily Telegraph

Emma Watson's new collection with People Tree is definitely worth a look. Whilst a little bit on the young side for me, it is great to see Emma's personal sense of style shining through in collaberation with Fair Trade and organic fashion products.

As well as clothing, Emma Watson and People Tree have also created bed throws, recycled sweetie paper jewelry, beanies, head scarves and home accessories.

Not only does the collection use 100% organic and Fairtrade certified cotton, it is also made entirely by Fair Trade groups by hand, using hand weaving, hand knitting and hand embroidery to create livelihoods for some of the most disadvantaged people in India, Bangladesh and Nepal.
